At BED Electrical, supporting our local community is something we take real pride in, and this year, one of our own is going above and beyond to make a difference.
Our Corby Branch Manager, Paul, is taking on an extraordinary challenge: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, standing at 5,895m /19,341ft above sea level. As much as this is a personal challenge for Paul, it is also a great opportunity to try and raise some money to support Cransley Hospice, a fantastic local charity that has supported his family and friends.it is also a great opportunity to try and raise some money to support a fantastic local charity that has supported family and friends.it is also a great opportunity to try and raise some money to support a fantastic local charity that has supported family and friends.
A Huge Challenge for a Vital Local Charity
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is no small feat. Standing at nearly 6,000 metres above sea level, the climb requires months of preparation, physical endurance, and mental resilience.
But the motivation behind the challenge is simple: to raise funds for Cransley Hospice, a charity that provides essential care, comfort, and support to people and families across our local area during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
Cransley Hospice plays a vital role in our community, and we’re incredibly proud to support their work.
Why This Challenge Matters to Us
As a business rooted in the local trade community, we believe it’s important to give back where we can. This challenge represents the values we stand for at BED Electrical:
- Supporting local causes
- Looking after our community
- Standing together beyond the workplace
It’s inspiring to see one of our team take on such a demanding personal challenge in aid of a charity that means so much to so many people locally.
How You Can Support the Challenge
We’re inviting our customers, suppliers, and wider community to support this challenge in any way they can.
This is a self-funded challenge, so every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to Cransley Hospice and help them continue providing vital care and support.
